A new look for Liveseys Motor Works in Morwell
A rewarding project has been the makeover and renovation of the exterior of Liveseys Motor Works workshop, now branded with their new logo and colours.
The old building looked tired and faded. We needed to give it a face-lift while respecting it’s 1950’s era.
Surface and roofing work was carried out to prep the building. New paint colours were chosen to define areas such as the entry and work in with their new branding. Although the building has a wide street frontage, signage was kept simple and strong, uncluttered with key information only. Specialised materials were used to protect dark colours from fading in the sun. A ramp for easy access was added, and the garden was given some love. A little extra effort, but well worth it, was the restoration of the old back-lit sign above the driveway – which looks great at night. Lots of effort but a great result, and nice for the Liveseys team to have lots of positive feedback on the change from clients and neighbours!
Fresh new website for not-for-profit group ACV/GARDS
It was a pleasure to create a responsive WordPress website for Vicki and the team at ACV/GARDS. With sponsorship, financial support and being able to quickly promote any important news being crucial to the site update, the new website provides the ability to promote sponsors, take donations, update content, add news articles and connect with members, as well as provide a wide range of information on asbestos and support available.

Time off over Christmas gave the opportunity to use a little creativity and turn old rusty metal plough discs into entry features.
We started with the old plough discs and rusty fencing wire.
The discs were welded together to create an abstract style flower. Following the recycle theme we had to find something to sit the flower on to hold it to the base. Old gears hiding on a shelf were the perfect height, and had an added benefit – the flowers can rotate in the wind.
Rusty wire was twisted and fixed to the centre of each flower to add some interest and softness, as well as provide contrast in size and weight since the discs look so solid.
It seemed only right to made a number ’80’ for the street number too.
All finished – the colours in the weathered timber pillars look great with the rusty metal and overall a rather interesting finish to the driveway entry!
A nice project during 2015 has been illustrating 9 panels for a property in South Gippsland. The panels each feature elements and views of the property including cows, a tractor, koalas, native birds and kangaroos. Panel sizes are 3m wide by 1.2m tall each and laser cut from corten steel, then set between beautiful stone pillars at the entrance to the property.
Backlighting will be added next so they can be seen at night, it should look fabulous – new photos to come.
A new website was well overdue for the Clarion Suites Gateway Hotel. The hotel, located right in the Melbourne CBD, had been fully refurbished and beautifully appointed but their website was looking tired and not responsive.
The new responsive site uses colour to connect the interior design of the hotel with the website, large photos show off their new style and visitors can view and book on their desktop, ipad or phone.

A recent fun project for a friends wedding. Held in the middle of bushland, some rustic signs were perfect to guide guests down the gravel road to get there, as well as give some directions at the event.
We recently completed a fresh new responsive website for Virtue Homes.
The project brief was to create a website that showcased images of completed homes, featured floor plans in a way that is easy and clear to browse, and that the Virtue Homes team could update themselves as needed. You can now see stunning images of their completed homes, take a look through the wide range of floor plans and lots more on your desktop, ipad or phone.

It has been great working with Peter and Jessica at the Yarram Club Hotel and we are pleased to be able to give them a brand new responsive website that reflects the charm and character of their beautiful old pub.
If you haven’t been there we highly recommend a visit to enjoy their great food and friendly hospitality!
Congratulations to Carol and Ken at Mirboo North Homestyle on their fresh, new responsive website.
It was great to work with them and create a new look and web presence that reflects the quality of their beautiful cottages. Thanks to our Google Partner Melinda Samson for once again making sure Google loves what we do!
